ABOUT FAVERSHAM
Faversham is a well-documented Medieval township, home to one of the original Magna Cartas, on the North Kent coastline. With its evocative land and seascapes and history as a location for the manufacturing of Thames barges and gunpowder, it is a perfect location to visit.
Iron Wharf Boatyard is a short walk to the town centre of Faversham, which has still kept it's market town charm. There are plenty of local shops, bars and restaurants.
There is a regular market selling local produce in the town square.
The nearest pub to Iron Wharf Boatyard is The Anchor, which is a wonderful traditional establishment, having been in existence since the 16th century. Very much a local pub, it has a warm, inviting atmosphere with a lovely garden and good beer. Family and dog friendly.
